Aerospace Geomatics is an international GIS and Remote Sensing company serving several industries around the world. The company was incorporated in 2000 as a Geo Informatics Company, and commenced operations with a huge venture into Research and Development in Geo-informatics and the use of earth observation data for mapping in Nigeria.

The company’s passion for technological advancement and scientific superiority has led to the ownership of several high value Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) projects across Nigeria such as the geo-information mapping of the Inland waterways of parts of Nigeria like the lower River Niger and the development of a national Geo-information database for Nigeria.

Since 2005, Aerospace has also been engaged in the supply of seismic exploration and high precision surveying equipment to various technologically-dependent industries such as Station Unit, Field Digitizing Unit (FDU), Geophone Strings and Telemetry Cables.

Currently, Aerospace Geomatics has coverage that embraces the West and Central African Sub-region through an exclusive alliance (in 2009) with KSAT, a subsidiary of 100 year old Kongsberg of Norway. This alliance is at the leading edge of the digital remote sensing and mapping technology and is highly experienced in the application of space-based and airborne data for various tasks in the region on a full cycle operational basis. Aerospace is capable of serving the offshore mapping and monitoring needs of oil E & P and maritime companies operating in the region specifically, oil spill and ship detection (early warning) and monitoring.
